Next Question: Where are the cheap Boston / Boston area hotels located?

Answer: Let me tell you where our transfer concierge service takes people from Logan Airport when they want to save money or when the more expensive Boston area hotels are all booked up.

Where do you take them?
Many have booked hotels in the towns of Dedham, Randolph, Burlington, Foxboro, Scituate, Quincy, Medford, Everett in no certain order and we do these transfers from the airport in Lincoln town cars or equivalents. In the suburban area it averages 68%. New hotels are under construction in Boston and the number of rooms near the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center in South Boston are increasing.

Soul food is food you can feel in your belly. Even, appetizers could fill you up and if you drink that sweet tea with it you'll be bloated.

The AboutBlackBoston.com goal for this Soul Food section is explore soul food as it is being served today in Boston and Cambridge.

I had soul food when I was a young boy growing up in North Carolina cause that's what my mom cooked. We grew it too. Had okra, black eyed pea, polk salad, fried-chicken perfected for the after church meal, collard greens, livermush, grits, chitterlins, pigs feet ( Mr. Johnny sold pigs feet drenched in vinegar from a big jar in his store) and much much more. Wikipedia got it right when they say that soul food is closely related to the cuisine of the Southern United States. They say the term came about in mid-1960s and that's about when I had it at home before I bought hot food prepared outside the house.
